Gathers up dust nicely. Just kind of flattens cobwebs rather than removing them from the wall completely- I went round with the duster in one hand and a stick from the garden in the other (if you brush a plain old stick through cobwebs it collects them on the end, like unappealing candyfloss. Mind not to catch spiders up in it though, they’d be tangled and killed, which would be cruel). Doesn’t smell ‘birdy’ to me, it’s a smell that reminds me of my grandma’s house. And it doesn’t pervade- I only smell it if I sniff the duster deliberately.

Nice to have all the traditional tools!

This is my kitchen broom, and it works very well- sweeps together all the little bits of dust and grit no problem. So I can confirm it can be used as an indoor broom too.

What a pleasure to have a metal bucket and not a plastic one! It is beautifully made, and I look forward to a long life of use. Only downside is it is smaller than I realised. Should have bought the next size up!

A really well-made brush but needs some wearing in! I’m expecting it to soften a bit over time (I have another one in a different shape that has done exactly that)

This is a beautifully crafted and functional duster. I have used others where the feathers come away really easily but this feels like my forever duster. It just does what it says it does!
